New York City is an international metropolis built on the shoulders of immigrants and their descendants. New York City is home to eight million people, and the city welcomes more than 50 million visitors each year. Your tour of New York City should include sampling the food from hundreds of different cultures, and you can explore it easily on foot, by taxi, or via the famous subway system. A gift from the French people to the American people, the Statue of Liberty is a universal symbol of freedom and the city’s most famous landmark. Wall Street acts as the heart of big business being the home of the New York Stock Exchange. The Empire State Building towers over the Big Apple as the second-tallest building in the city, with the nearby Chrysler Building also dominating the skyline. Nearby is the headquarters of the United Nations overlooking the East River and Grand Central Terminal, one of the busiest train stations in the world. No sightseeing in New York is complete without a visit to Times Square. Take in its billboards, its many people, and its food, then cross over to Central Park, which comprises 850 acres of lakes and meadows, where you can escape from the city buzz. You also have your choice of art and history museums, as well as the Reflecting Absence Memorial and Museum, where you can pay your respects to the victims of 9/11. Even though Manhattan houses most of the city’s landmarks, each of the districts of the city has its unique and distinctive personality worth exploring. From the historic streets of Brooklyn to the international cuisine of Queens, there is something for every type of person in the city. Above all, New York is a city to have fun and indulge oneself. So, enjoy yourself, and get ready to take a bite out of the Big Apple. New York City has everything for everyone: architecture, art, cuisine, entertainment, shopping. It's all here.

Ponta Delgada is the largest municipality and administrative capital of the Autonomous Region of the Azores in Portugal. It's situated on São Miguel Island, the largest and most populous in the archipelago. The population in 2011 was 68,809, in an area of 232.99 square kilometres (89.96 square miles). There are 17,629 residents in the three central civil parishes that make up the historical city: São Pedro, São Sebastião, and São José.[3] Ponta Delgada became the region's administrative capital under the revised constitution of 1976; the judiciary and Catholic see remained in the historical capital of Angra do Heroísmo while the Legislative Assembly of the Azores was established in Horta.

Day 10
lisbon, portugal
Arrival: 10:30 - Departure: 17:00
Lisbon is known as the city of seven hills due to its location, the city spreads across steep hillsides that overlook the River Tagus. Romantic and cosmopolitan, the city presents its typical red roofs to the visitors that want to get to know its every inch. Lisbon surprises with its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. The Portuguese capital offers lots of museums, libraries, a massive port, churches and palaces and stunning views of the River Tagus. Lisbon was once considered a poor and chaotic city. Currently it has experienced a resurgence in the style of the 14th and 15th centuries, when it was part of that vast empire stretching from Brazil to India. The reason for this was the World Expo held in 1998, a new bridge over the Tagus was built and the city's underground network was remodelled. The resurgence of the city then continued to host several matches during Euro 2004, also held there the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2005. Many of its most beautiful buildings date from the 14th and 15th centuries, especially the ones located in the Belem district. There are also many buildings from the 18th century, which are located mostly in the Baixa area of central Lisbon and were reconstructed almost completely after a devastating earthquake that hit the town in 1755. The historic centre of the city, standing on The Seven Hills, presents steep streets and picturesque alleys. On the west side of the city, there is Monsanto Forest Park, Lisbon’s lung, with an area of 10 km and one of the largest in Europe. The capital’s majestic port has 3 docks commonly used for several cruises and it is, currently, the busiest port on the European Atlantic coast. Lisbon is a city with centuries of history and with an ambitious attitude, marrying the historic with the modern, the traditional with the cutting edge. Strolling through the old quarters one can hear the traditional Fado sung and played in small restaurants in town. In the hilltop district of Bairro Alto, dozens of restaurants and bars line the narrow streets, with jazz, reggae, electronica filling the air and revellers partying until dawn. Nightclubs scattered all over town make fine use of old spaces, whether on riverside docks or tucked away in 18th-century mansions. Lisbon presents itself to the world as a cosmopolitan and lively city, with alternatives for every taste, especially in the summer months when its many bars, terraces and restaurants are crammed with people.

Day 11
cadiz - spain
Arrival: 10:30 - Departure: 20:30
Cádiz is situated in the south of Spain, in the region of Andalusia. Its coastline is part of the Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) and boasts numerous golden sandy beaches, ranging from beaches in urban areas to vast, virtually untouched stretches of sand. In the interior, the popular White Villages Route comes highly recommended. It hosts three festivals of International Tourist Interest: the prestigious Carnival of Cadiz, the unique horse racing events on the beach at Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and the elegant Horse Fair in Jerez de la Frontera. Part of the province also falls within the Doñana National Park, and there are also another five nature reserves in Cadiz's exceptional natural environment. Cádiz is also renowned for its delicious cuisine, particularly its “pescaíto frito” (perfectly-fried platters of assorted fresh fish) and shellfish, ideally paired with the wines found on the Wine and Brandy routes in the Marco de Jerez region.

Day 12
malaga, spain
Arrival: 07:00 - Departure: 19:00
Malaga, the birthplace of Picasso, radiates art from every brick. Considered one of the oldest cities in Spain and Europe, this cosmopolitan port is vibrantly modern yet it clings to its vast historic past. The palm-lined Paseo el Parque will lead you beneath Alcazaba, a Moorish palace whose fortified walls enclose fragrant gardens and an archaeological museum. The towering Gibralfaro Castle crowns a nearby hill, with outstanding views of the sprawling city below. Also worth a visit is the Picasso Museum that, aside from an impressive artistic heritage, offers educational activities and cultural events. Málaga deserves a good night visit: don't miss a good stroll along the harbour where traditional fried fish is washed down with cold beer at chiringuitos (beach bars) and enjoy the illuminated Alcazaba, which watches over the city from Mount Gibralfaro.

Palma de Mallorca is the only true city on the island. A city located on the island of Mallorca, one of the Balearic Islands off the east coast of Spain. The city has become a destination in its own right, rather than simply a stop-over for package holidaymakers on their way to the many beach resorts on the island, thanks to its increasingly cosmopolitan atmosphere, its cutting-edge galleries and museums, a thriving cultural scene and an ever-growing number of chic boutiques, trendy bars, nightclubs and restaurants. Palma de Mallorca is a fantastic place to visit. It boasts a rich architectural diversity as the city has many different styles all blended together. The remnants of Arab and Jewish cultures, the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture of its churches, convents and manor houses, in addition to its comprehensive infrastructure of cultural attractions, make Palma a unique cultural destination. Don't miss the chance to stroll down the narrow streets, take a good look at the interior courtyards and look up to see the impressive architecture on the heights of the various buildings where Gaudi and his disciples left their mark. The city's heritage is a faithful reflection of the peoples and cultures that have passed through the island over the centuries. As a versatile, cosmopolitan city on the beachfront, Palma, the capital of the Balearics, has something for everyone.

Once a wee fishing village, Cannes is now a glitzy and costly seaside town considered to be one of the social hotspots of Europe. Its time to shine comes in May as the venue for the Cannes Film Festival, entertaining the wealthy and well-known. During the festival, fans can see actors, celebrities, and directors up close and personal on the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals at the end of La Croisette. Although its nightlife, casinos and high end restaurants give Cannes a feel of exclusivity, Cannes does have alternatives to suit all sorts of budgets. Tourists can check out the beauty and architecture of Le Suquet, with its cobbled streets and stunning views, or sit at street side tables and enjoy the favoured pastime of people watching up and down the lovely marina.
